Students’ Admission Statistics
The issue was that the total student count was only 19 during the academic year 2015-16 and if the situation continues the government may shut down the school.
We are providing an Educational Kit to every student of the school, which includes the following.
- Books
- School uniform
- Sports uniform
- Formal and sports shoe and socks
- Schoolbag
- Necessary stationery items
We are also taking care of salary of non-aided teachers and expenses of most school events.
Our Objectives

- To conduct skill upgrade programs that include Spoken English classes for the students.
- To implement sustainable programs to provide quality education, healthcare, and social welfare through donations.
- To engage students with hands-on-learning experiments using scientific kits.
- To provide sports facilities at the school.
- To build an intellectually challenging educational environment.
- To provide standard and quality education to the students of Panchayat Union Middle School, Puraiyur
About the School
Puraiyur Panchayat Union Middle School of Alwarthirunagari Union was first established as a Primary School on 04-04-1931 and functioning in the building at Masjid Street owned by Puraiyur Masjid. Later, it was upgraded to Middle School on 20-02-1971.
On 13-03-1987 the school was shifted to a new building at South Street as persons named Mr A.M. Mohammed Sulthan, Mr A.M. Syed Ahamed, Mr N.A.M. Noor Mohammed, Mr P. Rasak and brothers donated their land (25 cent/10,994 sqft) for the school.
